It was in my first job at Richemont that I learnt the great value of exquisite craftsmanship. In creating MAGIMO pieces, I personally source and select the most unusual and intriguing stones, with the ambition of completing what nature has done by adding elements of design and precious metals to turn natural stones into wearable art pieces.

Objects take on new meanings
I don’t believe in the idea of making “more” for the sake of it. Every object has a precise story and “raison d’être”, which goes beyond its material value and carries its identity into eternity.

Jewellery is art. It is wearable poetry, eternal crystallisation of a moment, the individual expression of a feeling. For me, creating jewellery is a way of life.

Inspiration
Everything starts with inspiration. I could define that as one of those moments that touch you more than others. A story, a sunset, the hustle of a busy metro station, someone you meet, a fleeting moment that lingers within you.
Design
Led by the story, during the design process elements of natural and human get fused together to form the unique identity of the new piece of jewellery. Wearable art is the mantra. While pleasing the eye, jewellery has to be comfortable for the wearer too.
Creation
Drawn and visualised, our piece of jewellery now has to become real. Moulds are made, organic shapes are cast in precious metals, stones are individually set and securely held in place before a final polish is given by hand. The MAGIMO brand is applied onto every piece, a face with no features to remind us we are all One.
